using forms 6i, I want to take the current windows(currently open window) output to any file(like doc/txt etc)

you mean a copy paste of the current window in e.g. a word document?
if so,that would be very bad thing to wish!
because you might have lots records wich are not visible till you scroll down.. got the point?
you can write the same code in your form as a sqlscript that spools the output to a txt-file.

yes u got the question, if u have same code could u pass on me. otherwise if u know any third party tool which can be integreted with forms 6i for copy-paste into either txt file for word(doc) file.

i dont want windows data to be copied to text file. i want current windows screen dump (only current window) to be copied to file

there aint a 3th party tool that automatically copies and pastes in word for you.

you should write your own (sql) code or oracle report that shows your data on the screen.

your wish can be done by using a copy-current-window-third-party-tool next to your oracle application.
the user need to manually copy and paste into word.
there are such tools wich you can find on internet.
