Want to know is it possible to call a Forms 6.0 module from Forms 3.0 module or Vice versa.

AS we are migrating an application developed in Forms 3.00 to Forms 6.0

Please reply to this, ASAP.
Thanking you in advance.

Thanks and Regards
Rajesh

it is not possible because the runtime versions are different [[other plsql version]] so you will get sysntax/compilation error while calling the form of other version.

you can convert a forms 3 to forms 6 by opening the forms 3 in forms6 builder.
you will see some conversion of the plsql.
if you save the file,it is then converted to forms 6.
you cannot convert forms 6 to forms 3 since oracle does not support backward compatiblity.
if you have too many forms to convert, then you should write a batch with a loop for every forms in one directory [[auto convert]]
see oracle help about converting or migrating forms to an higher version
