Dear Friends,
I need suggestion. Actually in a form i have 4 blocks. 1st block is single record block. 2nd, 3rd and 4th blocks are Multi record block.
All the blocks have relationship and has a docnumber. The document number is generated only at the time of committing.
As it is a multi record block and as i have to navigate from here and there i am using post. At the time of post the "not null" col docnumber is creating problem. So what i did was temporarily i am assinged a "tempno" and at the time of no generation i am assigning the generated no to all the blocks. I am not satified with this method. Some times it may fail and "tempno" may be the no. So i need alternate suggestion. Whether u guys come across this type. Any other suggestions are welcome...
