hi,
can someone help me? I have create a 'heavy' report using report builder. 'Heavy' mean multiple table with complex where condition.
The problem is, I don't know why, when I select different station_id from the same table with the same range of period, the time take is soo much different. Like A station_id took about 5 minutes but B station_id took about 2 1/2 hours!!!
please tell me where goes wrong or how to improve it.

There may be several reasons for ur poor performance.
See,use following tips:
-Create index on very table which ur r using in report.
--see that ur join r properly used,
ur joins should not become product join.
--use sql tunning for this like
use proper syntax such as put no space between arthimatic expressing, give space between every where or and keywords and use every keywords in lower case.
