A couple of years ago (yes, it has been that long),
I came here looking for steps in deploying oracle forms to client desktops.
I found a great post here on how to do that.
It worked great for me but since then, I had left the company, became a web developer and now back to full time back end developer.
I was wondering if someone could be kind enough to give me the steps for deploying oracle forms and reports.
Thanks in advance

Assuming you are using Forms 6i and above:
1. Install the forms and reports runtime on the client machine.
2. Configure tnsnames.ora to connect to the database
3. Create separate directories for forms and reports executables and put all the executable in those directories.
4. Set the FORMS60_PATH, REPORTS60_PATH and other bunch of other registry variable in your registry.

You are set to run the forms and reports from client machine.
