Need help. I have not used Developer 2000 before, have only gone through the tutorial.
We have a application that was created in Developer 2000, which ran on windows 95 with no problems.
All computers where replaced with windows 2000. The application stopped running, the application was recompiled, the forms where now viewable. Something about 32 bit and 16 bit versions.
However now on trying to execute a query within the application generates the error Frm-40514 : Operation requires a database connection.
Note - The data is stored in an oracle database.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Updated Information and resolution to this problem.
Within developer 2000 forms design, I was unable to connect to the database, error generated ora03113 end-of -file on communications channel. But was able to connect to another database on another server no errors.
Plus33w.exe gave same ora 03113 error however plus80w connected with no errors.
Resolution found for all copies of sqlnet.ora on the c drive, e.g orawinnetworkadmin folder or orawin8net80admin. add the line
SQLNET.AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES = (NONE)
this corrected my database connection issues.
