I'm very new to Oracle Reports development and I was wondering ... is it standard practice to run reports within Reports Builder 6i (using the Live Previewer)? I seem to get nothing but errors and strange looks when I try this. (most of the folks I work with don't even think to try to run reports within Reports Builder -- they assume it won't work).
My latest error is REP-1211: Object 'Body' is larger than its enclosing object 'C_margin_field'
From the research I've been doing to resolve my errors, a popular suggestion is to run the report in Apps to fix the problem. This is hardly a covenient solution since we're trying to upgrade to 11i and are still trying to get many things set up.
Just curious if other folks have the same issues and what they are doing about them. Thanks.
