Would like to know if there is a way to Web Enable forms [[Developer 6i]] without having to implement Oracle9iAS. Not sure if Oracle Web Server [[Old version]] would perhaps be an option. Major constraint in our environment is we are a pure client-server architecture and do not have the option of a 3-tier architecture.

Would be highly obliged if someone knows of a way to make this happen without all the additional cost.

Hi,
Yes there is a way to create web enabled forms in 6i. For that you have to configure three things...
-- Forms Server
-- Oracle Application Server, Webdb Listner or any
other application server availabe.
-- Oracle JInitiator 1.1.7.27 or above

Oracle Webdb Listener is available in the Oracle Forms Server suite and you can easily install it from there. Oracle JInitiator can be installed later.

Once you will be able to install and configure your required components then there is nothing difficult to run your forms on WEB.

But keep one thing in mind... these forms will be very slow...

Cheers.
