Can anybody please tell me how to change to color of rectangle/frame dynamically in forms 9i? Any object would be fine except text item. I have tried setting the visual attribute property of the rectangle/frame and this does not work. Any suggestions would be really helpful.

For boiler plate objects like rectangle or circle etc. you can't set the properties in runtime. The best way is put a text item with bevel none. Create some visual attributes with different background color. Change the property setting using set_item_property and associate the required visual attribute.
