change the value to be displayed in forms [message #81412]

hi, i need to change the value to be displayed. for example, column values are 'I', 'D', etc. i want the values to be more descriptive so i'll display them as Insert for 'I', Delete for 'D', etc. what trigger should i use?

Hi Tina,

You make that field as List Item type and then you can specify the descriptions using the elements list property

Hi again! I tried changing it to list item. My problem now is I don't want to show the arrow. I tried covering it with the next item in the block but it still remains on top.

Hi,

You set List Style property of that particular item as T - List, then your problem will be automatically solved

hi! there's still a scrollbar. block should be query only so the scrollbar is inappropriate. i just created a display item and assigned the column value to it using post-query trigger. =D
