Can anyone help me to open Excel from an D2K 6i Form?

I want to run some SQL at runtime, and send the results to an Excel spreadsheet.

ie Select Can_ID, Reel_ID, Gauge from bcs_Can where can_id = 'C00001GH';

Well, I have looked through all the scripts re: ole2 package, and there is a prob with them all.
One that looked good has a set_cell_char function that has to be written, and is not explained.

Any more help very much appreciated?
