I am just getting started in the Oracle world and would like to know if it is possible to set up a simple
database on my home pc. I have installed a demo version of Forms 6i and would like to have a test db to run forms from.

That will only work on Windows NT or 2000. On Windows 98 the cd will only install the client version. At least this is what happened to me using Oracle 8i Personal. It is possible to create a dual Partition and have windows 98 on one and windows 2000 on the other. I have only done this once and will suggest you find someone more experience to help you if you want to go this route. Good Luck!
