Hi all,

Could someone please tell me why sometimes the chain of events in Oracle dont follow. E.g. I have steps:
1
2
3
4

and sometimes steps 1 to 3 fire but step 4 is ignored. Only if I put a message after step 4, then only it fires. Can anyone make sense of this. I am using Oracle 9i.

i dont know what really happens in your "steps"
but you might add
synchronize;
to your code.
