Help needed urgently [message #79970]

I have a list item with values 'Y' and 'N'. In the database valid values can be 'Y','N' and 'P'. The requirement is such that i dont want to show P as a list element but still i should be able to qurey records with value 'P' and i dont mind hiding the list item when record with 'P' is queried. How to solve this isssue.

please i need this urgently

Try this..
In the property of the 'List Item', set 'Mapping other values' to either 'Y' or 'N'.

Can i query the records with P values without having P in the list item by putting Y or N in the mapping other values property

You can control the values programmetically when going to add in the list.
