Is it possible to define a network path for the report output and for the rdf-files ?

So far I managed this by defining a local path for both. Now all the files are in the same directory as my forms apllication, from which I start the generation of the reports. Thats a bad solution so far.

(using reports 6i and forms 6i)

thanks kat

Hi,
I understood in this way..u mean u wanna Call a Report from a Remote system ? yes u can do that..
when u say Run_product(..)the path can be
\<system_name><drive>....<file.rdf>
or else
u can also give
x:....<file.rdf> where x: is a mapped network drive.

bye

Hi,
thanks for your answer, but I already tried this. The rdf-file was on a mapped network drive, and from the client I sent a request to the reports server, but following error occurs :

REP-0110: Unable to open file
'G:TRANSFERDE_033_Patient_040702.kf.RDF'.
REP-1070: Error while opening or saving a document.
REP-0110: Unable to open file
'G:TRANSFERDE_033_Patient_040702.kf.RDF'.

BTW the user, who is logged in on the client machine has enough access rights to G: . ¿?

Hello to all

I have a question:

I'm getting the following message when running the `runtime preview in Report Builder: REP-1401: 'before report': Fatal PL/SQL error ocurred. ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error. Do you have a clue of what could be happening?? All happen after I enter the value C02 in a prompt of type character. If I enter C02% the report executes successfully.

Thanks,

J.C.
