i have oracle 8i and forms 6i. with the help of net8 easy configuration iam able to access my 8i databse with forms. but using sqlplus 8.0 the whole application disappeared soon after it displays sql plus version. I mean just before the sql prompt. The similar problem is occuring with forms runtime. Pls help me. Is it the problem with pooling?

hey man!. First I guess you are talking about the client side, right?. Well, uninstall everything about oracle, even in the REGEDIT; delete the folder in your PC and restart; install it again and try, but don't use the typic installation mode, instead use custom installation in order to select the right products that you need. This is maybe because in your current installation something is missing. So try this and if it doesn't works talk with your DBA.
