how do I migrate 5000 records from excel to Apps [message #79350]

I'm trying to migrate 5000 employee records from a legacy system to Oracle payroll. i've tried using data loader but it falls down when crossing difficult fields. If I use SQL loader how do I get data out of the tables created by the control file into Apps screens.
Any ideas

Create excel as a database and then connect by ODBC to forms
in this way u fetch all record from excel to Forms then
write insert statement to oracle table for insertion

YOU CAN USE UTL_FILE UTILITY TO DO THE SAME THING....
