Insert records into database from form [message #78771]

I am trying to create a button that will insert new data into a data base field. When the button is pressed I am getting and error that says unable to insert. Yet when I save the form it will insert the data. I am using a standard INSERT INTO TABLE_NAME
VALUES (....) command. What am I doing wrong?

what is the code in when-button-pressed trigger ?

the time when u r getting the error "unable to insert",go to help menu and click display error and find out more about it .

pleas provide further information
