I have a form that is acting as an MDI window and running a timer with a repeat option every 2 seconds. The form checks a flat file for data. once the data is there the form calls another form and proceeds.
I also have the option of calling the second form from the MDI window without waiting for the data. This works fine. but if the parent form stays idle for about 10 minutes and I try to call the second form I get the "FRM-40010. Cannot read from form XXXXXX" . Originally the form did not have this timer and was working fine all the time. Any thoughts?
Thanks.

if you have library attached to the form, then delete the library and attach the library but type in the name (do not select from lov attached).it may solve your problem.

if u still have problem, then can u send a simple test case. which d2k version u r using?

In my case i had subdirectory like "sth - sth" and there I puttet Oracle forms. Then this stupid error started to appear. I changed name of subdirectory to "sthsth" without white spaces and now it works. :)))
