what datatype u declared in VC++ for parameter?
what is oracle procedure parameter datatype?

those 2 things are important to answer your question.

in Vc++ i decalred
CreateParameter("MessageBody",
advarchar,adParamInput,3000,strMessage).
In Oracle stored Procedure ..

VarMessage Varchar ..

so if i send more than 2000 characters it is giving that error .. so what to do..

Can u please give me a solution..

in oracle varchar will take only 2000 characters or what ?..
