I installed Oracle HTTP Server 10.1.0.3 StandAlone on a Redhat Enterprise 3.0 for testing purpose along with 10G DB.

The ongoing load on my box is averaging 1.0 WITHOUT ANY ACTIVITY. The following processes are making for the load:
- opmn (3% CPU activity)
- tnslsnr (2% CPU activity).

I checked the ons.log (log level 4) and discovered ongoing requests on port 6100. Look at the time interval between the requests:

04/11/14 12:35:12 [[4]] Local connection 0,127.0.0.1,6100 missing form factor

Any idea how to fix this?

Hi,

This looks like a conflict on port 6100. Try to change the port in one of the $ORACLE_HOME/opmn/conf/ons.config files to a unused port.

Best regards.
