Does anyone know the major advantages of using 9iAS instead of simply using normal apache server with mod_plsql add-on and a security module (to replace single sign-on) ?

Is there a website solution while still using PLSQL and single sign-on and not getting 9iAS ?

thanks.

Hi,

Mod_plsql is available from both iAS and Oracle's HTTP Server (Apache installed with the DB). Nevertheless, I don't think you are allowed to use SSO (Single Sign On) without licensing iAS. Best would be to contact Oracle Sales in this regard.

Best regards.
