is replication possible between oracle version 7 and 8.

Oracle 7 and 8 can communicate with each other with proper NET8 and SQL*NET configuration.
in this case you need both SQL*NET server,client rel2 and NET8 server,client on both systems.

I think once the database is capable of communicating with each other , replication is possible thru proper dblink, init.ora parameter settings and replication procedures.
pl. mail me to have more help in setting init.ora in this case.

how to copy tables from oracle 8i database to oracle 7.0.Please write the exact procedure for doing that. My problem is listener is not responding from oracle 7.0 . How to start listener in oracle 7.0
