Salam

Hope u are best in yu health....

I am flotting a issue to Oracle Database experts
....regrading Mutiple Schema VS Single Schema....

Issue :

A-9 to 10 Departments..

B-Each Department having Objects appox. 30.

C-Modular Approch is addopted for 9 10 Department (e.g
Personilty Profiles , File Management Sysem etc for
all 9 to 10 Departments).

D-Global Table are designed to support the 9 to 10
Department.

E-Huge Data will be stored in database (e.g millions
or trillions data)

F-9 to 10 Department are physical located on LAN with
One server .

G-There may be chance of that One or two department
shiffted to another location.

H-DSS willl be built on 9 to 10 Department.

Scnerio :

A- If 9 to 10 Department Table is design in Single
Schema User and Mutiple Roles will be created, that
Roles (assign particular priviliages according the
Department requirements) will be allocated to Mutile
Database Access User .

B-If 9 to 10 Department Indipendlty and physical will
be design in each saprate User (e.g Payroll DB User
with its Schema, HR DBUser with Its Schema).

Descussion:

If Both Upper Given are then

1-What will be CPU Uses:

2-What will be the Disk Uses:

3-What will be Memory User:

4-What will be Resourse Uses:

5-What will be Networking Uses:

6-How Easy or Difficult maintence is case of Upper
Given Scnerio.

7-Duscuss also about Security

NOTE: Please Keep it mind the Both Scnerio for 1 to 5
years.
