hi experts

i am trying

SET_BLOCK_PROPERTY ('emp', DEFAULT_WHERE, 'job = :control.tjob' and 'DEPTNO = ' ||:control.tdep);

please hoe i solve problem . . .

WHERE clause should be a valid string; yours is not. Try with
set_block_property('emp', default_where, 'job = ' || :control.tjob ||' and deptno = ' || :control.tdep);

or even
set_block_property('emp', default_where, 'job = :control.tjob and deptno = :control.tdep');
