I'm having a problem with a master detail table where the header is being inserted into the detail if this is controlled by an insert procedure. as I control this level database.

I'm with Littlefoot...your question doesn't make any sense. It would help if you told us your Forms version, how your data block's are configured (eg: based on tables or procedures, etc), your database version and better description of the problem...
