i had a problem
i hav a block
number of records 5..
three fields.
first code, then description, and amount..
if user did nt enter the code then fieled number 2 nd 3 bcom update_allowed disable..
if user enter the code then field number 2 nd 3 bcom update_allowed enable..
now if user wrote code on first column then this record should b as disable
nd dnt wrote the code on second column then second record should b as enable..

help.

Your message is difficult to read and understand as you miss letters everywhere. Please, write full words in plain English. Forget IM speech (or whatever you call that rubbish you currently use).

The first part of your question can be resolved by setting CODE item's REQUIRED property to "YES", as it won't let you skip the CODE item (so you can't enter next items anyway).

I'm afraid I don't understand the second part; you said

What are "nd" and "dnt"? How can you enter code into the second column, when the second item is DESCRIPTION (according to what you said)?
