Dear All,
When i move from one record to another in a tabular block using the mouse the cursor moves to the next record but the focus(the current record indicator ) does not move to the other records. I am facing this problem only in Win 7 64bit. If I run the same form in win XP no such problem is there.

Thanks.

What Forms version are you using (eg; Forms 11g R2 is 11.1.2.0.0) - it is always a good idea to include this information. Smile It is also good to list your browser and version and client OS version.

As to Jinitiator, Oracle quite supporting it years ago so I don't recommend using it at all - it is based on the Java 1.3.0 version. Also, depending on your Forms version, Java 1.5.0_22 may not be supported. If you are getting the same problem when using Java 1.6.0_45 it is entirely possible that you are dealing with a Forms bug.

There is a known bug with Oracle Forms 10g R2 (10.1.2.0.2) with mouse events and focus issues. The fix is a combination of upgrading your JRE as well as patching your Oracle Forms to 10.1.2.3.x. The minimum JRE certified by Oracle for use with IE 8 is 1.6.0_16. I recommend you upgrade to JRE 1.6.0_45 at a miminum. You will need a My Oracle Support (MOS) account in order to obtain the Forms patch to version 10.1.2.3.

If you have an MOS account, the Forms 10.1.2.3 upgrade is Patch ID 5983622.
