Hi,

We have Oracle Database 10gr2 (10.2.0.5) and OWB (10.2.0.3). We are upgrading the database and OWB to 11gR2 (11.2.0.3).

I read the document on upgrading the repository and got cleared on the steps.

But I was not clear on upgrading the Location. I see we can use either upgradeloc.sh or WB_RT_RESET_LOCATION package.

1. Which one will be better? - Option 1 or 2

2. If I go through the option 1 (upgradeloc.sh)

-----upgradeloc.bat <host> <port> <service> <wks_owner_name> <wks_owner_pswd> <workspace_owner.workspace_name>----

Is wks_owner_name, workspace_owner ==>> all represents the WORKFLOW user which we will create during the Repository upgrade or both are different?

3. As OWB will be coming as part of Oracle RDBMS software (11gr2) applying all the required PSU patches on DB Home sufficent or is there any specific patch to apply on owb home

thanks
Prash
