EBS Form Text Field Enable [message #590328]

Dear frieds, I am working on oracle ebs r12 and wants to enable text field (amount column in attachment) which is disable into form. Please guide me how can i meet this requirement.

I don't use EBS, so the following maybe won't help at all.

If things as "enabling items" in EBS is done by setting some parameters within the application, I really wouldn't know how to do that. However, if that's the case, perhaps you'd want your question to be moved into a more appropriate forum (i.e. our Oracle Apps. and EBS forum) where you'd, hopefully, get the answer - just say so.

If you can do that using Forms Builder (i.e. you need to "programatically" enable the item), then I can think of two options: the first one is the most obvious - open that item's Property Palette and set its "Enabled" property to "Yes". Another option is to do that with SET_ITEM_PROPERTY built-in (also set its ENABLED property to PROPERTY_TRUE).

thanks for the response. I can open form but can i enable through application directly ?
