The terms "cluster interconnect" and "cluster private network" are synonymous. A public interconnect would be an oxymoron.

Dear John,

The cluster connection between the nodes should be on private IP. I would like to know how to change the connection from public IP to Private IP. I think u got it now.

waiting for your reply.

Thanks,
Vijay.

You mean:

Example:

Before change:
Public IP: 10.140.10.30
Private IP: 192.168.10.1

After change:

Private IP: 10.140.10.30
Public IP: 192.168.10.1

?

as per your example cluster interconnect was configured on public IP i.e; 10.140.10.30

but it should be configured on private IP 192.168.10.1

i need the process to change the IPs like i mentioned above.

Regards,
Vijay.

So, I understood you mean (from my example):

You have now:
Public IP: 10.140.10.30
Private IP: 192.168.10.1

and you'd like to change them like:
Private IP: 10.140.10.30
Public IP: 192.168.10.1

If yes, you will look at metalink, with note: 276434.1
