Hi,

Is it possible/allowed to use the HOST() command in PL/SQL ? I am a newbie to PL/SQL and am trying to find this out.... Please let me know. Thanks! :)

Yes type "host" for windows/unix or "!" for unix without the quotes. Using SQLPlus for windows isn't very useful because it uses a DOS window and it closes after it runs.
