I encountering while giving ORDER BY CLASS at report query

View was created from Master and Detail table with simple join after this i created group above report with order by ID (Varchar2 , Values like 0010101001) but in report it order ruffly( not ascending or descending but randomly) .


please help to solve this

In Data Model Editor, check fields' "Break Order" properties (you'll recognize them by blue UP or DOWN arrows).

Also, open field's Property Inspector window, go to "Break Order" property and press F1 to open Help. Read it, it might be useful.

Thanks Sir,

what would be the best option to have view or at report level join as for as performance is concern.

A view is just a stored SELECT statement, so - if you write it correctly (tune its (SELECT statement's, I mean) performance), it doesn't matter.
