dear sir/mam,

I am new in oracle. I want to restore my database in oracle 10g enterprise. Actually i have a backup file(.bkp file) from oracle 10g xe and now i wanna restore in oracle 10g enterprise. so please help me.

What is contained in your .BKP file?

All the backup of my oracle xe database. Sir right now i uninstalled oracle xe and i have oracle 10g enterprise. Can i restore .BKP file in oracle 10g enterprise?

Why don't you just try it?
And then post what you do and get if you have any problem.

sir i tried restore command but i have some error.

RMAN> restore controlfile from 'D:\export\O1_MF_NNNDF_TAG20110411T121549_6T58WZ0
0_.BKP';

1) Post the whole RMAN session including the connection strings (remove the passwords)
2) The control file is not in this backup
