Hi,

I have installed Oracle 10g in Windows XP which is in 'VMware' as guest OS.
Request you to please share the procedure if we can connect to the oracle installed in Guest OS from the main operating system.
Main OS is Windows 7
Guest OS is Windows XP

Regards,

Why did you not simply install Oracle RDBMS in OSX? Runs like a charm for me.
Other than that you need to know the ip-adtress of the VM. Use that in your connection url, etc/hosts or tnsnames.ora on the OSX side, depending on the tool you are planning to use on OSX.
