Hello Dear(s)

My own created software is running since last 4 years but now when I am trying to run a report then I got a message "REP-0002 unable to retrieve a string from the report builder" and as a result my report don't run. Please note that some other reports are working properly, this problem is happens only with some of them reports.

Please help immediately.

What did you change in your system (so that reports that ran successfully for 4 years fail to do so now)?

Did you try to recompile reports? (Ctrl + Shift + K)

No Sir, I have no made any changes in system.
Today, as per your advise, I have re-compile my reports and replace .REP files, now they start running properly. But, I have a doubt that in future this problem will again occur and re-compilation of all files may hard and I think it is not a proper solution.

Something in the system changed. You need to find out what or live with the possibility of having to recompile again.
