Hi,

I created a tab canvas and changed the background color of one of the tabs. Now I am unable to change it back to the default color.

I tried entering "None" in the Background Color property and even tried keeping the field blank. But it keeps on prompting me to enter a color value. Now it is looking funny with all the tabs in the default color and only one tab in some different color.

How do I get back the default color? Kindly help.

Select the property in the property palette and click on the inherit button at the top of the palette.

You could also try AUTOMATIC (I think).

@cookiemonster - Tried the inheritance option. However the background has changed to white color now. There is no property for which I have selected white color. Any suggestions?
@joy_division - Tried. The AUTOMATIC option isn't valid

That would imply that the canvas has a sub-class that specifies that property. In which case you'd have to remove the sub-class before you can set it back to <unspecified>

Okk. Although I am not yet sure about sub-class and some other essential elements as am very new to forms, shouldn't be much difficult to figure out now since I have got the hint.
Thanks for the help :-)Smile

in the property pallet there should be a visual attribute, i think it is something like the theme. change it to anything else then change it to default. it worked for me.
