Where are those checkboxes? On a form? If so, what's the problem? Did you try to use WHEN-CHECKBOX-CHANGED trigger?

One by one: run report A, run report B, run report C, ...
Simultaneously: schedule "run report A", schedule "run report B", ...

Do you know how to run a report from a form? If not, check our Forms forum - it's been asked (and answered) many times. The rest is easy (at least, it appears to be).

In order to schedule a report, you'd have to use your operating system scheduling tool.

If you use MS Windows, then yes - it is found at "Accessories - System Tools - Scheduled tasks".

I guess that you should learn how to use it from the command prompt. On XP, it is SCHTASKS. Once you do that (i.e. create a command that will successfully run the report), you'll have to use the same command in Forms' HOST built-in. You'd use as many HOST(SCHTASK) lines as there are reports you'd like to run simultaneously.
