Dear all,
i am facing lots of problems in one of my current assignment.
i had to shift the an application built in oracle 8.0.5 and developer2000 R 2.1 on wondows2000.
i installed same version of oracle Softwares on Windows XP SP2 and successfully imported the data through DMP exp/imp.i had few problems and ORAFAQ forum really helped me.
and now the problem i am facing is really annoying. When i run the forms then all the things go well and transactiosns are ok but when i call the report it generates an error
REP-0002 unable to retrieve a string from report builder message file.
What is causing that. and to add an insult to the injury i only have REP files.
i re-checked the versions are same , oracle DB is same , even the SID name is same
Please guide..

Well, perhaps recompiling (All: <Ctrl + Shift + K>) the report would help, but - as you only have REP files, you probably won't be able to tell the difference. I really wouldn't know what to do with REP (perhaps write a new report, if possible?).
