Hello,,

Am facing a problem in running a report.Its taking so much time.
Well at times its getting hang and needs to be closed.Can u please tell me exporting Db tables to file and Import from Report Builder.

I have seen that in .net.so please tell me..

Perhaps you should tune the report's query. Because, you can create a flat file by spooling result of a query, but - if it is the same query, it won't be any faster. Furthermore, I have no idea whether it is possible to load such a file into a report. Even if you could do that, it would be unformatted.

i did n`t get you properly..@ what stage you want to import..and why you want to import...

Do you mean, you want to access the "Exported" file.?Are you want the table list from report builder?

If you have any plans ahead and suits with you u can simply create .CSV file as told by above gurus. It will be bit faster and avoid your hang and close.
