Hi All,

I have 2 nodes in my cluster; I'm using ASM and datafiles are stored in a SAN using RAW devices. I've already created a new instance for RMAN catalog and successfully add my database to this catalog.
But, I've read in a website that the preferred configuration for Oracle RAC is to use Automatic Storage Management (ASM) for a recovery area with a different disk group for your recovery set than for your datafiles.

So, I want to change my archiving configuration because I've 1TB in a SAN but with NTFS filesystem.

Someone could give me a step by step procedure to do this properly ?

Thank in advance

You must be talking about FRA.
I would just use a different disk group (keep it separated from data) as usual, most recommended to use external redundancy.
