Hi. I want to exactly monitor that either user printed the oracle report or not. If user send the report to the printer then entery should be created in the table. I am only facing problem to capture, either user print the report or not.

Please do not report your own messages in an attempt to gain attention for them.

the Reporting function exists to allow you to complain about offensive or irrelevant messages.

AFTER REPORT trigger can insert a record into a table after it is done.

However, you can't know whether it was really printed or not. Perhaps there was no paper in the input tray. Perhaps there WAS paper in the tray, but printer crumpled it in the output tray. Perhaps there was no toner cartridge in there. Perhaps cable was unplugged. Perhaps one-of-zillion-reasons-why-it-could-not-have-been-printed.

The easiest way is to ask user to confirm a printing operation.

Oracle can track that report was printed or not.

It cannot track that print was completed by the printer or not.

you can create a table and pass the userid and date into that table on the after report trigger(as littlefoot has already said Cool ).

you can keep a track by this method.
