hi

i am using Oracle 10g Form developer release 2 (10.1.2.0.2)on window XP (SP-3).

rwserver -install command is not working in oracle 10g form developer release 2 (10.1.2.0.2). Please tell me how to install Report Server in Oracle 10g Form developer release 2 (10.1.2.0.2).

hi
i was having the same problem in dv suite 10G(10.1.2) the report server was not starting.What i did?
I configured Lan card and now its working fine.
i suggest you to use lan card and after that just restart you are report server

run-cmd.choose your directory where installed Form and then use the following command.
rwserver server=anyname start

please check the attached image. i receive error when use rwserver server=pim start command

Please also explain how to configure LAN Card

hi Sir,

rwserver server=name command is execute properly in Oracle 10g Release 2 (10.1.2.0.2). After the execution of rwserver server=name command a Report Server window appear which shows Report Server is in running Status. But when i want to call Report through Form an Error occur 'Unable to connect Report Server'.

Please help me what can i do to run reports through forms in Oracle 10g Release 2 (10.1.2.0.2). Please help me

hi
if your using dv suite(10.1...) without ip address u cannot call report it will always give u error'unable to connect or bind to report server'i preffer u to use lan card if u have switch.
Note:
always restart you are report server with this command
(rwserver server=reportservername or(choose your own server name)start)dont use batch=yes
