Hello,

I have run into an interesting problem with a report I am creating. My layout consists of 5 repeating frames inside of an outer repeating frame. What I would like to do is hide the OUTER frame if NONE of the inner frames contain data. I have tried a couple of approaches so far but neither has been successful.

First I tried changing the format trigger for the outer frame to look at a single field from each of the inner frames, but this resulted in a "REP-1314: Format trigger 'R_1' references column xyz at wrong frequncy".

Then I tried just creating a placeholder column in the parent group and updating it within the format triggers of each of the inner frames. This failed as well and resulted in a "REP-1323: Cannot have output columns in format trigger 'R_2'."

Are there any other suggestions? Thanks in advance.
