Reports 6i --data being printed from middle of the page from page 2 (merged 3) [message #407801]

Reports 6i -- data is being printed from the middle of the page.

I am creating a report which has a main frame and two repeating frames inside. The data that is coming from one of the repeating frame is being printed from the middle of the page. For eg:
Page1
-----------------
1
2
3
4
------------------

Page 2
-------------------

5
6
7
--------------------------------------------

The data that is coming in another page is being printed from the middle of the page. I am running the report as a concurrent request with the format being pdf

Any thoughts on how to avoid the blank space on the second page??

Is there an object (such as a frame) whose vertical elasticity property is set to "fixed"? Also, if there's nothing to display there, perhaps you could create a format trigger which would return "false" if certain condition is (not) met.

the data that is coming from the last frame is being printed in the order shown above. I tried changing the vertical elasticity to be variable for that frame but that did not help. The problem is the blank space that is coming in the second page.

Obviously; but where does that empty space come from? *Something* must be there, that consumes the space.
