Hi there

I want to make some of my report text bold (like word or two) within a paragraph.

E.g

It’s my first report.

I’m using Oracle 6i report builder and creating in PDF format.

Any idea will be highly appreciated.

Thank you!

I don't have access to Reports 6i, but - is there the BOLD button in the Paper Layout Editor? If so (and I believe it should exist), select text, push the "bold" button and that should do it.

Thanks for your reply Littlefoot!
I know that bit But the problem is that I'm fetching the data(text) from a table.

How are we supposed to know that fact if you don't tell us? If you did, I probably wouldn't post such a meaningless answer.

If text is stored in a table, I'm afraid I can't help much as I wouldn't know how to do that. Perhaps you might store certain escape sequence along with the text which would tell Reports engine to bold this part of the text. Would that be possible by writing a piece of Java code or something like that, I really have no idea.

As far as I can tell, with all my knowledge, plain text is the only option.
