i'm using shell script execute oracle report to generate pdf.
it works fine when generate less than 100 pdf files. but when it comes to generating more or than 150 pdf files. it gives me this error
REP-421452038
can anyone help me on this?
i'm using
oracle report 6.0.8.25
Oracle Database 10g Release 10.1.0.2.0
Linux
No oracle forms

Huh, I have always thought that Oracle error codes (which includes Reports) aren't larger than 5 digits. This one is mysterious - Google is confused as well, Metalink returns no results found ... perhaps there really is nothing to find, or I'm incapable of doing that properly.
However: this unanswered OTN Forum question describes your problem (more or less). One of the lines says non-ORACLE exception.
So, what could it be? As 100 PDFs are fine while 150 PDFs return an error, do you, perhaps, run out of disk space? Any other quota?
Please, keep in mind that this is just a blind shot; I really wouldn't know what is happening. Though, you could open a TAR at Metalink.

i got this error code when i'm using function SRW.GETERR_RUN;
from oracle help/reference; "SRW.GETERR_RUN: This function returns an error message if Report Builder detects an error while running the SRW.RUN_REPORT procedure."
unanswered OTN Forum question is similar to my problem. anyone can help please?
