I understand there is no corresponding SQL boolean datatype to that of pl/sql.
But what will oracle consider inside
for an expression like (1=1).becoz I need to
Use a pl/sql fn which returns boolean in the where clause of a sql.
I'd like to use it in a SQL statement called from JDBC. I would like to avoid building any additional PL/SQL function into the DB schema.

Any pointers to this will be appreciated.
Thanx in advance.
