Verify your win95 pc can reach youe SUN box over tcp/ip. On your win 95 pc create a connection string alias using net easy config for example. You would need the ff info:
-Hostname or ip addr. of your sun box
-instance name
-username and password to connect.

It can't work. It does not start up the listener service, desn't it? If it does, how can I start up the oracel listener service in the unix.
