Hi,

I am trying to estimate the time for conversion from Forms 3.0 to 4.5. I would really appreciate any suggestions on the subject or a reference to a book that describes the conversion.

Thanks.

Marina

I've done it and the only problems I had were with the width of the fields. You have to set some command line flag to widen the fields. It was straight forward after the first one. The only place I've ever seen any info is in the forms on-line manuals, but if you browse around ORAFAQ, who knows what you'll find :)

Sethu,

we are doing that now.
we are using a converter called FORMSGENIE.
This is not free, this is a third party tool.
We have used oracle's facility to upgrade also.
In this case we need to do a lot of post generation work. But the 3 rd party converter takes care of it if you use it.
You can write me if you have further questions.
My mail id is skvoona@yahoo.com.

Good Luck,
suresh
